A better way to work from home

As a company, we’ve always been open to, and even encouraged, remote work and work from home. But the COVID-19 pandemic forced our entire team to switch to remote in March 2020. Although expected to last a few months, reality proved quite different.

Some prefer working from the office rather than at home, and for them, this presented its challenges. Some people miss the social aspects of the office, but some dislike working from home because their home is not optimized to be an office.

Most of our homes were not ready to become our workplace, so our bedrooms or living rooms had part of them repurposed to be an office.

Using the product of our friends at Nooka, we now have a better solution: a fully dedicated office space in our very own backyard.

It doesn’t help with the social aspects, but it’s great to have a quiet office with zero commute time.
